Allowances

Child Allowance

Function Allowance

The function allowance is additional compensation for additional tasks or challenges resulting from the complexity and responsibility of the job.

Annual Bonus

Employees who are in an employment relationship on December 1 are entitled to an annual bonus payment. The annual bonus payment amounts to 54.97% of the base monthly salary.

Tax Class Comparison

Germany has a system of six tax classes that determine the rate at which income from employment is taxed at source.
